With the WSU, your packages are transported, manually packed in the material you require, strapped and manually removed. The production process is fully automatic. With the WSU, the operator only needs to intervene to pack and remove the packages. The precise measurement of the package ensures that only as much packaging material as necessary is used.
The VariPack gives you the greatest possible flexibility in the production of “boxes off the roll” in the desired quantity and dimensions. The roll material is automatically creased, slit and cut. The packaging is only produced in a customised size when you need it. This minimises warehousing and logistics costs while reducing packaging costs. The finished blank is optionally laminated with foam (for sensitive surfaces) or paper.
Variprotect XL® is an innovative system based on the DUO-Pack XL roll material. You can customise your edge protectors on site in different dimensions using just one roll – even in batch size 1. Only as much material is used as is actually needed, so there is no waste. This means maximum flexibility with minimum material and logistics costs.
