This year’s FACHPACK aptly illuminates the current situation in the packaging industry with its key theme “Transition in Packaging”. Sustainability, digitalisation, process optimisation – no matter in which field we move, the currently omnipresent change in the industry requires many companies to rethink. Papier Sprick’s packaging solutions prove that these goals can be combined with a company’s individual process requirements.
“The key theme is very fitting,” thinks Christian Drauschke, Managing Director Marketing and Sales at Papier Sprick. “The drive for change here comes from companies themselves, users and consumers, but also from the legislators.” The achievement of sustainability goals, cost pressure and the availability of goods present companies with new challenges.
Drauschke knows that if a packaging process is to be optimised holistically, focusing on the costs of the packaging material alone is not enough. He emphasises: “We continue to develop the entire process. This already starts with the selection of the cartons and the packaging material, continues with the optimisation of the packing station and ends with the automation of processes.” This enables the customer to ensure the highest possible output in the packaging process – both with proven standard designs and individually developed solutions. “If our standard does not suit the customer, we will not let them down. Quite the opposite: with Sprick, the customer has chosen the expert in this field”, assures Drauschke.
Papier Sprick combines paper and machine under one roof. The manufacturing and processing of the paper, as well as the development and production of the systems: fully Made in Germany. The company relies on sustainable paper that is made of 100 % regionally sourced waste paper. Sprick advises, supervises development and implementation, and creates a reliable solution adapted to the customer’s needs. Drauschke: “Every customer situation is different and brings with it special requirements. We offer a suitable solution for almost every case.” The company benefits from a wealth of knowledge, both about the products to be processed and the application on site at the customer.
For Christian Drauschke, Fachpack is a welcome opportunity to exchange ideas with sales partners, existing and potential new customers. “It is important for us to be close to the customer and the market and to hear feedback directly,” he explains. The developments in the industry presented at the trade fair are closely followed. “Of course, we also strive to be pioneers ourselves,” says Drauschke. “You never see the same stand with us – every year we present new further developments of our integrations and systems.”
