Our event for apprenticeships and careers
On 18 September 2026, Papier Sprick in Diemelstadt-Wrexen once again opened its doors for Future Day. Pupils had the opportunity to get to know our company, explore the different apprenticeships we offer and gain a first-hand impression of what an apprenticeship at Papier Sprick is like.
From insights into our production processes and hands-on activities to conversations with our apprentices and employees, there was plenty to discover throughout the day. We look back on a varied programme focused on apprenticeships and career opportunities.
The ‘Future Day’ on the big screen
We were already active in the region even before ‘Future Day’: we ran our own cinema advert to raise awareness of the event and invited school pupils to find out more about Papier Sprick and the apprenticeships we offer.
If you missed the advert at the cinema, you can watch it again here.

A look behind the scenes
How is our recycled paper made, and what career opportunities are available at Papier Sprick? During the factory tours, visitors were able to take a look behind the scenes and get to know our company up close.
The tour took them through various areas of our production facilities and showed them potential future workplaces. This gave the pupils a first impression of what day-to-day working life at Papier Sprick is like and the different tasks involved in producing our products.
Discover apprenticeships and try them out for yourself
At the ‘Future Day’, pupils were not only able to find out about our various apprenticeship programmes, but also to gain hands-on experience. At the ‘Market of Opportunities’, our team presented the apprenticeship programmes and demonstrated some of the tasks involved in their day-to-day work.
At various stations, visitors were able to try things out, ask questions and talk directly to our apprentices. This gave them a practical insight into what each apprenticeship involves and what an apprenticeship at Papier Sprick might be like.
Visitors who already had clear career plans could even apply for an apprenticeship at Papier Sprick on the day. Our team was also on hand to provide information about the apprenticeships available and answer questions about the application process and starting an apprenticeship with us.
Visitors could also have a professional application photo taken free of charge, giving them something useful to take away for their next application.
A day full of new experiences
‘Future Day’ 2026 offered plenty of opportunities to get to know Papier Sprick, explore our apprenticeships and meet the people behind them. We were delighted to see so many pupils asking questions, trying out new things and talking to our apprentices and employees.
Our prize draw was another highlight of the day. Congratulations to Julius Holzhauer, Frederike Fortak and Fynn Woitaske, who each won a JBL speaker!
A big thank you to all our visitors, apprentices and employees who helped organise and run the event and made the day such a success.
